Atrial fibrillation (AF) is an irregularity in the heart where the heart beats fast, causing the upper chambers of the heart quivver. This can cause symptoms a of fluttering heartbeat, palpitations, fainting and dizziness, weakness, fatigues and angina. It can be treated with medication and surgery as well as defibrillation and pacemakers.
