Circulation refers to the circulatory system that creates the flow of blood through the body’s heart and blood vessel. An incorrectly functioning circulatory system can cause high or low blood pressure, the hardening of the arteries, problems with valves, arteriosclerosis, varicose veins, chilblains, hemorrhoids and leg ulcers. Methods to improve circulation include regular exercise, yoga and breathing techniques as well as herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, acupressure, massage, hydrotherapy, physical therapies, yoga and kinesiology.
