Diphtheria is an infectious disease which can cause fever, red sore throat, weakness, headache, swollen glands and difficulty swallowing. It is caused by toxigenic bacteria in the upper respiratory tract. Antibiotics, antioxins, immunization, homeopathy and in some cases, hospitalization can be used to treat Diphtheria.
