Poisonous plants can be found in Australia and can cause allergic reactions in small cases and be fatal in more dangerous cases. If you are unsure of the safety of a plant, ask a professional for advice. Plant poisoning can cause vomiting, stomach cramps and convulsions and should be treated at a hospital. Treatment involves washing the affected areas with water and removing and remaining plant material.
