Polio

Polio is a disease which is caused by a virus and is contagious. Vaccination has almost completely eradicated polio from the Western world however still exists in developing countries. Polio does not show any symptoms in 95 percent of cases. Treatment may include the use of ventilators, increase in fluids, bed rest, homeopathy and massage.
